The Pierce County Charter Review Commission put nine proposed Charter Amendments on the ballot for November. All are encouraged to submit postings to the blogger. This now includes Charter Review Commissioners since they no longer need to submit to Open Public Meetings provisions. Everyone is also encouraged to comment on others' postings.
At the March 9, 2006 Pierce County Charter Review Commission meeting, the Commissioners gave a preliminary nod to putting a proposal to elect Pierce County's Sheriff on the ballot. Aaron Corvin of the Tacoma News Tribune gives a nice summary of the activity in his article over the weekend.
